The US Dollar (USD) is the standard currency on Taniti. Many businesses also accept euros and Japanese yen. Alcohol is not sold or served anywhere on the island between midnight and 9 AM. The legal drinking age on Taniti is 18 years old. Alcohol is available at restaurants, bars, pubs, and licensed retail stores during permitted hours. Please drink responsibly and be mindful of local customs and regulations.
Taniti observes many national holidays throughout the year. During these holidays, many restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions may be closed or have reduced hours.
